This manual documents the Basmark QuickBASIC Compiler, version 2.2.
While this version no longer bears his byline, Roger A. Bielefeld is especially acknowledged for the design and implementation of the lexical analyzer and parser of the version 1.0 compiler. More importantly, he and Gary M. Goins are credited with seeing the project through the first few critical and cathartic months.
Also acknowledged is the assistance of Gary M. Goins, Walter O. Augenstein and Jonathon Cassell for their valuable editorial services during the production of this manual.
Concern for man himself and his fate must always form the chief interest of all
technical endeavors . . . in order that creations of our mind shall be a
blessing and not a curse to mankind.
