The above movie was taken at Hofbrauhaus, world famous beer hall. So famous, in fact, that the only people eating there were tourists. This is a movie of a traditional band and a little boy watching. Unfortunately, the movie has no sound. To see this movie you may need to enable an option in your browser.

The above picture is of me at Augustine's, which is a traditional bierhalle with not so many tourists. This guy is my new friend from Turkey. If you go to a bierhalle in a group of fewer than six people, they seat you at a table with other people. The Turkish guy and I talked about travel and politics and had a good time. The two women behind us are from Munich and we talked with them also. These places are inexpensive, which is important when you have American money.  You can see a little bit of a white mug on the right with silverware and napkins.  That's where you get your silverware and napkins.  These are very meat and potatoes kinds of places.
Augustine's,

The above picture is looking back down Neuhauser Street, near where I first arrived in central Munich.  But now it is time to say good night and goodbye.
Goodbye to Neuhauser Street

The picture above is blurry, unfortunately, but it was taken on Friday morning when I checked out of my hotel, the Herzog Wilhelm Hotel. Then I got on three planes, the last of which headed out of Detroit but found Cleveland fogged in, turned around and stranded me in Detroit, so Lisa bravely drove through the fog in the dead of night to get me.  We don't have any pictures of this because it was dark and foggy and we couldn't see anything out the windshield.
