Larry's DATE 2008 Trip (5)
The above picture is of me at the podium
before my second speech, presenting my paper. As you can see,
I've got my name in lights for the exciting story of "Fine-Grained
Supply Gating Through Hypergraph Partitioning and Shannon Decomposition
for Active Power Reduction."
 |
The picture above is at the front door of the
meeting room. My name is on the monitor here too, but it is too
small to read in the picture.
 |
In the picture above, I am beginning to give
the speech about my Master's thesis, which we had edited into a long
(six
page) paper that was accepted by the DATE 2008 conference. DATE is an
acronym for "Design, Automation and Testing in Europe."
 |
This picture, above, is me in action
explaining my thing. Twenty people actually listened to this and
afterward one person asked a question. Either I explained it
really well, or they were hoping I'd go away and the let the next
speaker talk. But the moderator later said it was a good paper
and a good speech.
