Larry's DATE 2008 Trip (1)
The picture above was taken after the first
leg of my trip from Cleveland, March 9, 2008. This is a weird sound
and light show
in the walkway between terminals in exotic Detroit, Michigan.

The above picture was taken after the second
leg of my trip. It was Monday already and I was in Amsterdam on
my way to Munich.
In this picture you can see a control tower above our "plane." At
Schipol airport, often they bus you to your plane.
I'm not sure how the guy on the bicycle is planning to get airborne.
Maybe he's Charles Lindburgh.

Above is a picture of me in my tiny Munich
hotel room. I'm looking crispy after a sleepless night in an airplane
seat getting
elbowed by the guy next to me. Here I am standing in the main room
holding
the camera at arm's
length.
There were a couple of closets behind me on the right and a bathroom
with shower on the left. The door to the room is behind me.

The picture above is of me in my tiny Munich
hotel room lying on the bed next to my computer. I had two twin beds
with
about two feet of space between them, a small desk and table for my
bag. The TV was mounted on the wall. There was a nice big window. That
was the main room. European rooms can be small.
